R1 shock

Hi
I see many fit the shock from the r6.
Is the r1 one the wrong size eg,

I personally do not know if it will fit but the spring rate would almost certainly be too high, that`s why the stock R6 shock is a pretty straightforward swap with one of Kayla`s adaptors.
You`ll find them on Ebay UK or pm her here.
By the way, I expect that Maxton shock to go for VERY good money, they are some of the best shocks money can buy!

Wouldnt be able to fit the Kayla lower adapter as the R1 shock has a round base lads,..only hope would be if the length was the same as the trx.

seen in practical sportsbikes that a zx10r shock fits a yzf750 so should fit trx too?

Hmmm, it would seem that not ALL ZX10 shocks are the `forked` end type:

Interesting...
the 04-05 model appears to have a 10kg/mm spring, according to the Racetech site, that's a little closer than the R6 one for me.
