Rotor Nut

While striping down the engine for a spray and tidy up I've come up against a very stuck rotor nut/bolt.
It just doesn't seem to want to shift.
I now have the rotor in a vice and I'm about to bring out the hammer and large spanner.

Any suggestions or am I missing something obv. before I set about it with the heavy artillery?

Sorted....
Shifted it eventually after a stern talking to with a 6 pound hammer and a vice.
My make shift rotor holder dinted the inside of the rotor tho. misshapen on the inside edge.
I'm thinking this is going to cause me vibes later on if I put it back in on the re-build.
Any thoughts?

we talking brake rotor?
if yes, then before you put it back on, lay it on a piece of glass with some form of medium to show up if there are any high spots.
