How to polish fine scratches from a new screen?

Please help!!!

Today I used a glass microfiber cloth to polish the brand new screen. It must have had some dried polish on it. Put fine but obvious scratches all over the screen.
Tried the “plexus plastic polish” with a new micro cloth on the screen. No joy.

Can anyone assist with a few ideas? It took a long time to get this new screen, I am a little annoyed.

Andrew.

got a scuffmark across the windscreen from the wiperblade.. Do you think this would work on a windscreen also as they state with a bit of elbowgrease or maybe 1600 paper to start??????

Jewelers rouge mate, that`s what you need:

Or cerium oxide:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_pppn= ... &_kw=glass

Then there`s the fine polishing products:

Edit:

My Scandinavian biker bus (Volvo) has a quite deep scratch in the nsf window, very likely done by an irate drunk who was wearing a ring with a protruding gemstone in it and tried to break the window by punching it. The ONLY way I could get it out would be to spend some hours with jewellers rouge. Obviously it`s not much of an issue because you can still see through the window but it does ferk me off every time I clean it.

seriously, once the glass is scratched, its a gonner.....
slipped with the sand blaster once, and even tried to spray clear paint into the problem...Nada..!
the plastic screen is another thing, use a fine compound, visit a panel shop..[we dont eat babies] and ask for a smidgen of swirl remover [its an extra fine compound] to polish the bike fairing, take your own piece of flannel if you like..if you take a six pack, they would do it for you...as its better if done with the machine polisher.
