Whatcha reckon the port temp will be? I´m thinking of using a copper high temp silicone for exhaust gasket as a standard 38mm gasket is covering some of the porting. I know, a tad anal but a quick fix...

Have you looked for washers, either alloy or copper in the size you require?
Make your own:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Copper-Sheet- ... 564632b8c4
And one of these:

That`s 38.1 mm, you would have to file the rest out.

I know I use to always seal the triumph headers on the bonnie with plumbers roof and gutter silicone sealant.
Never had a problem and one less copper for me to worry about

,the only problem with the heat was when them coppers did give me a hard time

but they could never catch me anyhow
