A link would be useful
Worst case scenario is that you need to change the spacing, throttle assembly, fuel connectors. I looked at splitting a bank of 4 and this was going to be expensive as you have no choice but to buy new parts.
Best case scenario (if the spacing is the same), you would still need carb spiggots. Other than that, you will almost definitely have to rejet and do the TPS mod

OK, that doesn't help in the slightest!
Maybe ask a few questions and see what info he can give you

They won`t stay at 450 quid that`s for sure, I note they are brand new so expect them to near double that price!

You do need to ascertain what they are for too by the way.

I reckon they wil go to about £700
Second hand ones don't come up much
BUT, as Mince has said, you need to know what they fit first

There`s no TPS fittings, I reckon they might have been for a Duke personally. So no bids at all last week? That`s surprising.

Lack of other photos make it hard for a buyer..do trx compatible carbs have serial type numbers that could be used to identify these..also if the seller dosent reply to correspondence...not much to do really unless you can view them.

If from a ducati..one would think a set of jets and a full set up with tps might make them close to a trusted new set..how much less are these in the UK anyway..?

Ask him to measure the centre line spacing of the carbs, around 98mm is good for the TRX. Measured between the `mouths` of the carbs and an imaginary centre line drawn through them.
Still no TPS on them though and although you don`t `need` one per-se (you can do the bypass mod) I wouldn`t personally be without mine on the FCR`s, the bike runs so much cleaner through the rev range with the TPS fitted.

Strange these are not receiving any interest with 23 minutes to go, they ARE a bargain being new. If I had the money sat in the bank I would bid on them and knock them out again.
Alex, they are approximately HALF the price a set of TRX specific FCR`s would be.

Well that`s them no sold again, incredible to be honest.

New ones out again, same as above?
I don´t have money for fcrs for a long time yet but is this "it" to buy, has it got all things needed?
