Coolant leak

G'day guys

My TRX has sprung a slight coolant leak. I thought I had holed the radiator but it seems okay. The coolant is leaking from a bolt on the left hand side of the barrels (just near the exhuast flange) when left on the side stand for a while. I've taken the bolt out, cleaned it and replaced it and it's not damaged as far as I can tell but the slow leak persists? Anyone else had this problem, or any ideas? Thanks and cheers, Rewster

The 10 mm headed drain plug that sounds like.
Does it have a soft copper washer behind it`s head, it SHOULD HAVE. You can use a soft alloy crush washer too if you can find some with a 6 mm hole through them.
Be careful to check that there are no hair line cracks spreading from the 6 mm thread across the barrel casting.
DO NOT overtighten that bolt either, with the right soft washer behind the bolt head you`ll only need to `nip` it up, some clear silicon wiped around the threads of the bolt before installing it might help seal it if the threads have been a little stretched by someone else`s over zealous tightening.
