Replace Spark Plugs with normal sized hands?

Hi everyone

English is not my native language, but I think the problem is common enough to be understood: I have to replace my spark plugs since my TRX won't start. (Battery is hooked up and charged). But apart from the fact that I can't even see the plugs, I have no clue on how to get to them.

Is there somewhere in this forum a good guide on how to change the plugs? Preferably with pictures since I probably don't understand any important parts in english.

thanks for answer in advance.

Mutso

thx for the link (and for what I guess is a joke that I don't get). So all I have to do is: "drop the radiator off the brackets (but still leave it plumbed in) and get to them that way " I will try this tomorrow since it's nighttime here in switzerland.

Use a deep reach plug socket with a rubber insert too, it`ll grip the plugs ceramic and make it much easier to remove them.
Be CAREFUL the plug holes through the head are not filled with road grime, grit etc. As you remove the plugs it can fall into the combustion chamber.

definately a good idea to use an air blower around the plugs prior to removing them :)
And welcome to the forum too :-)

G'day MutsoKrone,
Don't worry about your hands being too big. Once you have changed your plugs a few times you will have removed enough skin for them to fit perfectly.
And welcome to the forum.

partially successful. Thanks guys! The tip with the radiator helped a lot. Once you figure it out it's not even that difficult. So I managed to change the plugs. Still doesn't start though. Is there something else I could do?

Note; the removed plugs where quite greasy. and after I changed the plugs I needed to wait a full day to charge the battery up. Could this be part of the problem?
