Subframe crack

A few months ago my darling wife backed my car into my bike...
Anyhow with the help of members of the forum I had sorted the damage out, or so I thought. Washing the bike the other day I noticed the subframe had a crack in the tube just forward of the RHS pillion footrest/exhaust hanger mount. Has anybody had experience in welding such a crack?

.....
edit
Sorry you mean on the frame itself, just forward of the pillion peg/exhaust hanger (i mis read)
Its just steel and an easy weld by someone with a mig welder. You might find a welding shop who would weld it for a few $ if you just dropped in with the paint already ground off and ready to go

This seems to be a flaw in the TRX's that a few members on here have suffered the same fate. I keep an eye on mine also as the 2 into 1 system is slung on the right side..

use the search function but that thread eluded me... at least it seems the tube has thick enough tubes to weld..

I wouldn't stress to much over the exhaust centre bolt.. My bike was reversed into by the trouble & strife. She hit the bike on the left hand side hard enough to knock it over the high side and it landed on the right hand clip-on & RH muffler, fritzing the clip on, throttle tube, master cylinder & twisting the forks big time. When I loosened the triple flambé it sprang back big time. The subframe crack is accident (incompetency !) damage not fatigue.

When mine has been down the road or over on its side, both times the initial shock was enough to snap the exhaust mount off from the rear peg assembly.. I can possibly see why the centre bolt on the std headers though with 12kg of mufflers hanging off there...
