streetfighter cables and lines

Hi

Got myself a streetfighter top yolk to suit my early r1 front a while ago, thanks zednine.

Just checking if tdm clutch and throttle cables are the ones to go for?

From experience roughly how much longer do brake lines need to be for this kind of thing.

A trip to m&p or a call to venhill may be coming up.

Cheers, Andy.

I am using tdm clutch and throttle cables (under slug the throttle cables) brake lines from hell think they are 50mm longer than standard.

HI Dixonj

Thanks for the reply.

That looks a treat, was it a straight swap?

Was the standard stuff miles too short or nearly there?

Cheers, Andy.

Yer it was a straight swap, brake lines and throttle cables were to short, could of used the clutch cable.
I have some used goodridge hoses 940 mm.

Hi John

That sounds about the right length, are you looking to sell them?

Are they 2 hoses from master cylinder to calipers?

Do they have straight banjos?

How much are you looking for?

Cheers, Andy.

Hi John

Nice offer, though let me choose some bars on or after the weekend first. It may save us both postage if they're too short.

I'll have a better measure up then and pm you details.

Many thanks, Andy.

How low or high your bars are you should NEVER be tired in arms/shoulders. You should have a pain in inner thigh from connecting with tank. Never lean on bars, period!
