Fork rebound adjuster

In the manual it says there should be 4 settings, my right fork adjuster spins continuously.
So my question is,
Is it still okay to ride ?
And can it be rebuilt ?

I think I'm being dumb, they should be able to spin as all they do is select a different hole size ?

Yeah but in "clicks", when the click is further apart then you back at one again.
Buy a haynes or download the servicemanual on here
