Offset trx discs vs yzf750 ones....

LetÂ´s see if you can answer before google....
I thought TRX discs where 10mm offset....just made a 320 conversion and it looks like the yzf discs are more like 15mm offset.
Anyone know??

Looks as though my Galfer front 320mm discs are anly about 6mm offset. Used with blue spots on a full YZF front end.

May or may not help you?

Will measure where they are situated in the calipers now and mill down what i need. Mate just measured his YZF750 discs and they where 10mm.
Strange though...as i needed about 2mm of shim on the others discs but the other way on the calipers!

Yes 10.5 offset compared to 9.5mm offset on the Trx. The difference is in the hub width on the rim... I measured all these up when I had the yzf750 front end and the possibilities of using the discs and a caliper mount bracket on the R1 front with std Trx front wheel conversion

Yup, i have standard TRX wheel. Will try figure out how much to mill off...

Be good to see a photo when completed killer so i can see it all in place..Nice to know how thick the adaptor plate is and how much you have to shave off to get it all in place. The reason being Metalgear who manufacture discs are local here and they may be able to Match up something with the correct centre/offset /bolt holes to start and no need to shave anything off..

Yeah, the discs sold to me was said to be DF660 oneÂ´s. (10,5mm offset)
These where in fact DF881 14,5mm offset for duc 998 (and a few others)
But we came to an understanding him giving me rebate on discs so got new galfer discs for 125Â£....going to use some money on a cheap front wheel taking it down 4mm on the hub each side. OR iÂ´ll wait until fall/winter and machine my own wheel....

Took a pic of it mounted, can put it up later
