Oil pressure light switch / idiot lights.
I fitted one of Lee Henty's oil pressure light switch, great! It works!
The problem I face which I didn't anticipate was with the instrument panel.
I thought it'll be easy with removing the bulb holder blanking plug from rear of the idiot lights and voila I would see something. Nada, zilch, nothing illuminating!
I haven't disassembled the instrument panel yet so I don't know what's blocking the light from shining through and I've been searching for any info but don't seem to be coming up with anything constructive.
Any clues guys?
Cheers.

Are their contacts visible or is there simply a key way that the bulb holder goes into? Maybe a simple rubber that pushes snugly into it`s fitting? Does the bulb light? So many questions.....................................
Sorry I have NEVER looked at a standard set of TRX clocks.

The bulb is fine, no problem there. I peered into the hole where the bulb would fit, but I can't see any light getting through. My thoughts are that where the idiot lights are the shapes of the left/right indicator, neutral and main beam are "cut out" from whatever is in there and as the end bulb holder is blanked off no shape has been made for the additional light.

You have to drill a hole the same size as the other light hole see my post I used an old reflector and made a small oil can decal.

Re: Oil pressure light switch / idiot lights.
Got it stuck to the inside panel. It was a bit fiddly, I used a craft knife and tweezers as well as a couple of choice words! Got it done in one go which surprised me.
The oil light isn't quite the same size as the neutral indicator, I didn't have a drill bit big enough and couldn't be arsed filing it. Looks acceptable me thinks.....
