Spark Plugs for Modified Engine

My ongoing TRX project includes a modified engine - up from 850cc to 878 - with high compression pistons and gas flowed head. The engine is yet to be run but I am in the process of re-building the bike after powder coating the frame, wheels, swing arm etc and finishing off the engine by painting in satin black.
My question, given I notice there are quite a number of you guys that have undertaken similar mods, is should I be looking at different spark plugs from the 850 standard? I was looking at using NGK Iridium IX DPR8EIX that I understand would be standard 850 fayre although my local parts and accessories shop suggested that 9s would be better as they suit higher temperatures and are fitted to the TDM900 - and then I discovered he only had one 8 in stock! Was he throwing me a line?
I'd really appreciate any thoughts/ guidance you may be able to offer. I've included some photos of the engine and will post some more of the project (after some earlier encouragement from Stu99) now I've sussed how to reduce the files to an acceptable size on my tablet (it's all in the ap)!
Best, Johnners
