Oil on yer carpet?

Post by Mav617 » Fri Jul 31, 2015 8:30 pm

I walked oily sludge in the house, up the stairs and along the landing, on a beige carpet.....

Tried different remedies, but it wouldn't shift. Then I bought some Auto Glym Intensive Tar Remover to clean the front of the bike engine and noticed it said that it could be used on carpets. Frig me, five minutes later its like it never happened!

Not used it on the bike yet but reckon its already paid for itself!

I've used degreaser on carpet with success, but the carpet was a dark colour. :)
Degreaser removes oil off driveways. =D>
