as happy as a pig in poooo

Post by brockzila » Fri Apr 11, 2008 9:04 pm

Just got my mate over and gave the trx a push as it would not start on the jump. it fired up 1st time. shes running rough but its running. am so happy. its taken me a while but its all systems go. am off to france tomorrow and back in 2 weeks
i know it goes, so dont have to stress about it not starting when i get back. it has a water leak but that is prob just a lose hose clip.
now i just need a few bits and bobs to get her up to mot standard and im im all systems go. then the paint.
so happy to hear it running i just had to tell someone.
and its you lot that coped it. :D

Nice one Brockers...

Time to get some miles under your belt now.

Where are you going in France?? I just got back from 2 weeks in Burgundy - I took the KTM with our 'luggage' . We're going back for my Coughtieth birthday and the TRX will be going then. The roads down there are fantastic, and empty by comparison to ours and the attitude to 'Motards' is very positive.. Nice place to ride a bike!

just got back about a hour ago. was in a place called salat. its a small medieval town about 45min drive from bregerac. it was real senic. the roads were fantastic. Went for work. worked 12hours a day. the only day we had off i was ment to go for a ride with my mate on the back of his very nice TL. it was very nice all week then yesterday it rained like a bastard.
The roads were amazing. will be going back on the rex in summer.
off to turkey to pay my respects in Gallipoli tomorrow. Will check back in when i return
