PB's still the best UK bike mag as far as I'm concerned. It's had a few downs but at the moment I like it a lot. So there..... [-(

What's not to like? Plenty of specials, 2 strokes and that kind of thing..... Plus they like a good TRX now and then!

but the delivery is not very reliable, got my issue yesterday. Happens now & then, but it's worth the wait, so much better than the Swedish mags!

Still the best mag afterall deffinatly. This months issue did make sence though thinking about it, i would rather have a retro than a sports bike i think.

I retract my last statement about PB, i've just finished it all and it was actually quite interesting. I liked the bit about the aging effects on the cbr600rr and how to make it better. Good knowlege about the rear shock too, would be the same for the trx i should think.

Never heard of PB.. is anyone able to scan a few pages in and post em somewhere for us to have a look at ?

As for rapid bike mag. Yes its good, but ill never for get the "show pony" R1 it had as a cover.. All it was, was a bunch of bolting bling, carbon bits and a few polished bits here and there. And carbon wheels. Spent 24k on the MODS, and left the engine un-touched.. Claimed it was a killer bike on the track.. im like, err,, has it even SEEN the track ? Sorta turned me off.. That and im SICK of hearing / reading about the "judge".. yes its ok, enough already. stop comparing things to it.

With that said.. i could be claimed to have a bling-limo bike.. luckily its changed HEAPS since TOTM pic..

As for racing, i wish there was some sort of class for the TRX.. im no where near good enough, and honestly i dont care. Would be fun to have a crack tho. I THINK they make exceptions for the naked class here in AUS, but everyone uses fazers. So id probably be in the way more than anything.

Anyone got any action shots of TRX's racing ?

Correction to the above... Rapid are building an RS250 not with a KTM engine but with a 70hp Aprilia SXV550 engine. It should be totally bonkers... or should I say it had better be having donated the engine to the mag! Editor Jeff Ware, tester Wazza and of course a certain Mr Gardner are all great blokes and Rapid rightly deserves the respect it gets here in Aus. Shame to hear that PB has gone off the rails - I used to buy it religiously when Mark Forsyth and Simon Hargreaves ran it. 8)
