There's 2 good frame straightners not far from me, Laurie Aulderton at Smithfield and Motorcycle Frame Straightners at Greenacre, if the need arises.

Yeah Mince, it was sure an experience. It handled well. But it vibrated and was sooooooooo loud!
Hot cam, high idle, FCR35s and an insanely loud pipe.
Just made me forget how sweet TRXs are.
Picked up the TRX this afternoon. New fairing, subframe and mudguard and they did the steering head bearings while they were at it.
Gotta get myself a tank protector so I dont fuk up the new paintwork on the tank.
It's good to be back on it again.
Now I just gotta put the FCRs on.......

FCR35`s?
Hmmmm over here they tend to run twin 39`s. Same motor as my Skorpion but the gear cluster on the SZR has a better change and a higher first gear, the XTZ660 motors in the Skorpions have the stock trailie low first gear so they launch you skywards if you`re a tad aggressive at take off.
Vibrate?
Well for a single I can assure you the Yamaha 660 singles are very smooth for, a racer pal of mine has a 720cc SZR motor in a tigcraft frame. With the balancer removed you have to make up an alloy `dummy` balancer to preserve the oil pressure / gallery but the balncer saps around 3 bhp from the motor and after 6000 rpm does precious little anyway! Even the crank driven water pump saps around 1.5 bhp so he`s gone down the route of an electric inline coolant pump, rigged through a thermocoupling / switch.
Those lovely single vibes keep the circulation going on cold Scottish rides out and Dawn finds them most `exciting`.
