It's only about 20 mins past Worcester on a bike Al - you're alot closer than some of the members & if it's in Worcester i might as well walk there in my slippers (we're already going to ride via Oxford to make it more of a rideouthandsomejackuk wrote:Too far for me i'm afraid..... make it Worcester / malvern / tewkesbury area i'll be there....

OK ... 24th is now 'reserved' on my calendar.
(drmac ... if you can't be at the Waterman then Greece is a good second choice, luv the place!)

I'd never get home in time after a Sunday afternoon.
Maybe next time it will be on Saturday ?

OK, sounds like 24th July it is then. Confirmed members so far:
NWS870R
Wendle
Trixynut
Red Rex (+1?)
Cal
SDN
Phuk72 (?)
Slow Codger (probably)
Once we have a finalised confirmed list shall i ask if the pub will put on a 'burger n chips' type lunch at a reasonable cost? Let me know on this & i'll get it sorted if required.
If we can get a few more members on board it should be a good meet

Yeah , only another 20 required and it'll rival Avebury
I have another TRXer local to me ... I'll try and get him interested in joining us for the day.
(PS ... never been known to turn down burger n' fries)

Nice one highlander, I started a post in the europe section about a Scottish meet I would organise but not much interest (maybe not that many folks up here), It would be ideal for us lot north of the border as I dont really fancy a long motorway trek for 2 hours at a pub in the midlands. If you are up for a Scottish meet show your interest and hopefully we can get something sorted.

My friend with a Speed Triple wants to play too! If I invite him do you all promise not to pull his pants down over his choice of bike or will I just have to leave him to the lions?

I'm sure XTRX'ers can join us, (just so they can go all misty eyed nostalgic) , so the odd 'non-believer / potential convert' would be welcome too
