yzf forks

thinking of having my yzf forks rebuilt but want them to look like ohlins (so all gold) has any 1 had this done any pics, also how much should I budget for this job (UK)

By the time you service and coat them, it would cost the same as picking up a second hand pair of Ohlins.
You find them for about $1000 over here is Oz so I'm sure the price wouldnt be that much different in 2/3 Great Britian and Scotland..

Yes probably more cost effective to buy new stauntions in gold.

Ouch didn't think it would cost that much was thinking about 350 to have them stripped recoated and rebuilt . How would I get all the black anodising off the forks so there all silver ?

Firefox Racing will service, re-anodise stancions in gold & titanium nitride the lowers for £430. This also includes powder coating the spindle clamp castings

They also 'pepperpot' the top adjuster caps included in the price (as per Ohlins forks) Total job takes around 3 weeks
