YES, and lighter wheels are very likely to be THE BEST way to improve your handling too.

First thought went to the dancing girls...burlesque
But do you mean the buell lightning rim mounted disc style front ?

Eric Buell's thinking is basic physics keeping mass central and lower centre of gravity.
The Buell's and Eric Buell Racing have put together some really nice looking bikes and haven't just conformed to the typical sportsbike image.

Udaysen is one of the lucky ones who took my bike for a ride a few mths ago and experienced how much difference the lighter wheels make.
Took him a few corners to get use to it as it did for me, taking 2 or 3 bits at the cherry to get the apex on the corners.
Muscle memory has to change and no need to throw it around so much.
You get more feel and feedback from the tyres too and its a bit like like using a lighter line while fishing.

Meant mass around the engine lump a la Buell and Britten. The light wheels of course with less gyroscopic forces are a huge improvement as experienced with Cobbas dymags. Had to constantly re calibrate my lean procedure.

Actually been thinking of mounting the yoshimura below the engine with larger extractors. Same size as the nojima extractors.
