Colour scheme is not to my taste, but at £750 it's good value. It's all in how it runs really. And why it was resprayed in the first place.

Full length belly pan is a bit of a rarety, I'm not sure about those footpegs allthough that's just cosmetic. Has a few of the standard mods which saves work, I guess. Hagon shocks are normally sprung for the weight of the rider which may be good if he is the same weight as you. At only 6000 miles use it should still be good anyway.

Cheers burty. Reserve is set at £1300 - was £1600 before.

Hadn't noticed the pegs - good call!

I was thinking the paint can't be that good as it looks like it's gone through to the metal where it's been rubbed on the tank.

At 1300 pounds this equates to $3130 aus therefore if the engine is in good nick this is an absolute bargain. Aust you are looking at anywhere from $4000 and up.

If the engine is sound then it's a good deal. Not sure it's really the bargain in the UK. I guess it depends on the quality of the paint.

If the suspension is good then I guess it saves money over buying something more original.

Tart wheels though.

Martin,

It looks reasonably sound to me, and good low mileage providing all is genuine (Burtys comments on why it's been sprayed). I'd check the frame has actually been resprayed, and wasn't white originally, which would mean it's a Japanese import and would be restricted (but would also have a white face tacho and KMH speedo I believe, so easy to tell): shouldn't be an import on a P plate, usually M and N plates.

Good extras which are worth a bit: I'd suggest the mods are sensible, and secondhand Ebay prices for the bits would be:

Blue spot calipers £60?
Brake lines £20?
Bellypan £50?
Rear seat cover £100?
Laser Cans £80?
Hugger £50?
Hagon Shock £200?
New-ish Pilot Powers £180 a set new?

(I've sold most of these bits in the past on ebay, or seen others sell)

You take that off the £1,300 if you get it for that, and it looks reasonable, not cheap but not expensive.

Dave

Was the silver frame also UK spec? Red frame I believe is also restricted Japanese import.
