Found a use for the padded hanky called a TRX pillion seat

Yesterday I took my 7 year old daughter for her first motorbike ride. Result? Event though it rained on us she had a complete ball. So another generation gets the bug... my parents met riding bikes, my father in law still rides ( goldwings...
), the missus rides and now the grommet is hooked...

Mini-me's the same age and she loves going out on the bike. Pillion seat is just the right size for them! Only downside is the cost of bike gear for kids - altho it might be cheaper over there.

250 beer tokens for a kids size brain bucket that wasn't either made of cast iron or an off road jobbie with a peak... about 100 calamari.. sorry quids.

I took my son for a ride when he was 4. He loved it for the first twenty minutes as we headed up in the mountains. We stopped at a 7/11 (I think there are more of them around my house than in the entire U.S.) had a drink of... apple juice and I asked him if he was game for a bit more. "Oh yes!" was the reply. 15 minutes later the little shit was asleep. Mind you this is a TRX with FCRs and REALLY LOUD RC Sugo race pipes... Luckily I had him in a harness that was strapped around me but I basically had to keep my left arm twisted around my back propping him up for the rest of the return loop (which we were committed to, about 40 minutes). I had all kinds of people pointing and gawking.
I waited a couple years before I took him out again.

Ah just for once it's cheaper here then - I spent £50 on hers.
Max - that sucks - glad I didn't start taking mini-me out til she was 6 then!!!
Now I just get nagged for not going fast enough, not leaning enough, not taking her out on it enough, blah blah blah

I used to take my daughter to school on my 1000J, and she would always want to wear the open faced helmet so all her mates would see her, little poser

Pfff, I had to wait untill I was 12 y/o! My father told me that was the rule, but later it turned out it was his rule, not from the government / by law.
The sound of the Triumph 3TA through the tunnels was worth the waiting though.
