Is what I've been telling myself for the past month...

I've sold my beloved TRX.

The reasons are long and many and fortunately it's going to a good home (the new owner is building a garage for it and has it stored in my friend's shop until it's finished).

My neck injury is obviously going to take a long time to heal. I'm in no condition to ride a motorcycle and watching it sit there unridden and lonely was just plain sad. Not only that but we are in a nasty battle with the insurance company...

I'll have some parts going up for sale later when I dig them out. Before you ask, the FCRs went with it. They made the bike and the sale...

I'll always be around here though so don't worry about the site. I'll also try to answer as many tech questions that I can but I can no longer go out to the garage and look at mine to double check.

I will always have the memories of it being the most fun bike I've ever owned.

That sux. Nonetheless, I'm sure all 999 owners can finally get a full
night's rest.

In any event, I'm sure a TRX is harder to ride than a MotoGP bike
nowadays!

wow, its like chopping off a testicle when you have cancer.. you KNOW it needs to be done, but you just cant let it go.

All the best max and you never know, you might heal up one day and make full recovery and get back into a trx !

Tough decision Max, but at least we still have you around to cast pearls of wisdom before us swine. And R8.5 has gone to a good home and (hopefully) will still appear on the forum from time to time. Good luck with everything mate

Jeeez Max - what a tough call Nevertheless you've made a decision that make sense to you not to anyone else - and that's all that matters.

Insurance companies suck the bastards will hound an honest customer into questioning their own morals if they think they can get out of paying FFS (my rant over)





However, I'll bet you buy another TRX within six months of "getting back on the bike"

So chill out at home and repair your body's damage, and when your well enough, another TRX will find its way to you. There are still parts of these forums that you can take the urine out of and we will return the honour. In the meantime, find a good up and coming lawyer who is willing to take on the insurance company to make a name for himself.
