Does anyone here know of an oversize big-end bearing to suit the TRX crank? Thanks in advance.

Yamaha parts list shows 4 sizes for the big end Con-rod bearing and 7 for the crank bearing. All in color codes.

The first seven are part numbers for crank bearings, last four for con-rod big end. I'm not sure if the 00~30/60 means they go up in size or down... Maybe ask the Yamaha dealer.

Thanks for that Taz but I'm thinking those bearings are very close sizes to allow for machining tolerances from the factory, maybe up to .3 thou guessing by the part numbers. My crank has spun a big end on the number two side and the crank guy has indicated he'd be looking for around 2 thou. undersize for the I.D. My brother had a ZZ1100R a few years ago & had the same problem. His crank was reground & he used a Suzuki bearing. I am looking for a bearing off a different model or make that has a slightly smaller I.D. & the same or slightly larger O.D.
Hopefully some one who reads this board has had a crank reground for their TRX & found a bearing that did the trick.

By the way, check your oil before EVERY ride. These things (TRX) can consume enormous amounts of oil without any tell-tale warnings.

Forget sourcing the bearings. I found a guy in South East Queensland that
was able to locate a suitable big end bearing & grind the crank. My bike is back together & sounds like new. If you need a big end repair then this bloke has done a TRX crank & can give you a fantastic job at a realistic price.
