My speedo is off

is there an adjustment, it shows that im going quicker then what i actually am.

how much quicker ?? most std speedos read about 10% higher,, the most accurate ones you enter the distance the wheel travels in one revolution

:shock: Shouldn't be any more than 10%, on the satnav the car is 3mph out at all speeds. Can you check it against one?

well, when me and my mate were traveling at 60 (he was keeping the speed constant) my trx was showing 70ish. When we were doing 120, it was showing 170 - 180. Is there anyway to calibrate it ?

No, unless there is some aftermarket item that can be fitted between the drive and the head. What front tyre do you have?

How do you know his speedo is right , mate uses his GPS navigator to check his speed .

You sure your mate's isn't reading MPH whilst yours is reading KPH? :?

if its a bike in oz then its in km. they have not had mph there since the 60s/70s when they went metric.
