Do any of you have the preload-only forks, and if so, how do they compare to the standard TRX ones?

I think I do ('94 R forks)...will tell you when they're on.

Thanks. I've got a YZF front end here and wondered whether or not to fit it instead of the T'cat forks.

Are you sure its only preload? I thought also the compression was adjustable (or was it rebound

) .
Well, easy to see: a small flathead screw on top of the preload adjuster.

Early YZF forks were preload only... PHUK's got a set on his TRX.

Yep, me too.
They're black though!

Ah, so there are a lot of different versions.
There are also gold colored ones, I guess those have adjustable preload and compression.
Mine is silver and... fully adjustable.

Mine are black with preload only. I know the T'cat forks would give a wider/better range of adjustability but, man, USD forks are
cool!

Indeed I have.
And what more do you want? Get them set up for your weight and away you go. Way better than Tcat IMHO
Less to fiddle with (and hence fuk up

)
