That's sad Rocket!
But it looks fixable to me.
The fairing can easily been done with ABS welding.
Like I did to mine:
Edit: So, I don't agree with your signature

Looks repairable to me, if you dont go down the plastic welding route, you can replace the plastics. Engine looks ok, although crash knobs next time !! levers and bars can be replaced no prob, let them write it off then buy it back and rebuild.

I feel for you - fixable I'd say too - this stuff is the best I've come across - beats plastic welding - sooooo easy to use and hard as a hard thing!
Even does metal and can be drilled and tapped.
Car repair motor factors stock it

Glad ur okay fella. Had a similar 75mph left side excursion on my NC30. Tore all the plastics off, dented the tank (bars coming round) and bust the peg off. Repaired it myself with new platics and some TLC and you'd never have known...although my wallet was £600 lighter. I'd only consign a bike to the scrapper for headstock or serious frame damage personally. Cases can be replaced and lets be honest...those stock cans wanted binning anyways!
Fongers crossed your TRX will live to 'fight' another day!

Most important thing is that you're ok ... if a bit bruised! I hope the bike comes through it, if not you'll just have to find another TRX to love

Thats's not a write-off, if you let them do it, I'll fart in your general direction!

Steve the rear brake locked going into a lefthander. The road was greasy.Corners they are not stock cans and the company that made them appears to be out of business.I have just had a look on E-Bay in GB and I can't beleive the prices and the range of parts.Over here we have buggerall. At those prices a repair is not unlikely.By the way Yamagreedy has put the price of a tank up from $800 just over a year ago to $990 now.I don't think our dollar has dropped that far.

A large place with a tiny population, quite the opposite to the UK.
Don`t you have any breakers yards out there?

We do have wreckers as we call them but the one that is wrecking a TRX at the moment has also been down on the right side so most of the pieces I want are not available. It appears that the TRX was not as prevalant here as in britain,as you said large place small population.More people live in London than in all of Australia.

Hi Rocket
Glad to here you are still ok. I have just got a friend to make a mould of the fairing and he should be able to make you one as well if you are interested. He also makes a one piece tail unit without pillion seat. We are hopeing to do a belly pan and pillion seat cover in the near future.
Rob also has a pretty special TRX, ex racer from Japan, now on the road here in Perth W.A.
He is keen on joining this site and i hope he will be posting some photos soon.
Keep us in the know. Our local Wrecker has just brought in a TRX from Japan as well i believe.
Try "Motorcycles Plus" Mike Smith, mob 0403 545 049 He's a pretty good bloke to deal with.
Cheers,Al.

Be aware of MWB Wreckers ... When looking at a right hand staintune pipe on e bay recently i asked weather it was scratched ,dented or damaged in any way.. The answer I got was the pipe was in good working order... I'm sure it was but didn't answer the question asked... I went and looked at their feedback and sent an e mail to disgruntaled customer who had also purchased something and asked a similar question and seems like he recieved the same answer as I did.(just that he purchased the item...I didn't)and it was scratched and dinted.. but in good working order..just damaged... so be warned that they answer the specific questions asked... No friends in business...horrible saying but horribly true.. In most cases...not all..
