So when you getting one

They sound even nicer with aftermarket cans on ... altho a touch loud when those little bits in the middle jump out and hide on a shelf at the back of the garage

hahaha good question, but for now i'm keeping my honha hornet haha i'm just having to much trouble getting the documents with a power limit (for now i can only drive bikes with less then 25kw/34hp or a hp/weight ratio of 0.16hp/kg...) and i'm not going to do that again, it's a pain in the ass! and the 850 trx can't be "changed" in the docs... they wouldn't believe it

fair enough :D when do you get your freedom to ride a real bike? :P

If you make it down to Jerez for the MotoGP next spring I'll let you sit on mine (depending on b/f rebuilding his bike in time!!)

just because the papers say it's limited it doesn't mean that it is

well, i can drive fullpower in two years time :? i need a three years licence and 21y old to be able to ride "free".... lucky me the guys at honda don't have much trouble changing the power in the papers, 'cause i would be fukd!

i'm not thinkin' about going to Jerez next year, too expensive for me hahaha

i would prefer to keep the money and go out on a trip to the hornet's day at the Ace cafe in october 8)

Is the TRX still in production? I feel like a fool asking in this forum but my total knowledge of the bike is from Max - was it ever released in the US?

First produced in 1996, we just celebrated the 10th Anniversary by getting t-shirts done with the now useless webaddress on them :? Not sure when they stopped production, think it was 1999?

For us here in Japan the run was from 1995~99, so for me it's 11yrs.

No Gary, it was never released in the US. Shame too, it may have found a following and stayed in production. It never did get much over here because shortly after it was released Honda and Suzuki came out with their 1000cc V twins in aluminum frames. Japanese are goofy about gadgets and don't know a good thing when they ride it...

It did get a warm reception in Europe and Australia which is why there are still so many avid fans years after it went out of production.
