fazer 1000 parts

Hi,
a local mate, has some parts off fazer 1000. they are rear wheel 17mt 5.50. width edge to edge is 6.25 inch. also, complete rear swing arm 10 inch width between pivot point. also front wheel complete with good metzeler tyre. and complete forks, and top bottom yokes.
could anyone tell me if rear wheel and swing arm would fit my trx without to much modification, i.e. could i fit a wider back tyre ?
Would there be any advantage in fitting the front forks. i.e. would this be a better setup. ?
dog bones are 142mm between centres.
