I am - will I ever learn?

Every year I lash out £50 for a ticket, innevitably get piss wet through and moan about the facilities / getting out to the M1 but ....

Even taking the wife this year (on the back of the TRX)

Sorry mate, but Donington has been off my 'must do' list for a few years now, and now it's a building site too ... no chance. Doing the BSB at Brands tho :D

TV coverage is my preference these days. 8) Can't stand the crowds, smelly toilets, expensive food, rain etc.

Now where did I put my damn slippers ? Think they might be under the tartan blanket on the back seat of the car now I mention it.

I'm planning to go to the Friday practice day with a m8. £18 is a bit steep (£10 a few years ago!) but you get the sound without the crowds and traffic probs. I'll be safely in front of the telly for the race itself. £65 for a ticket on the Sunday....kin silly if you ask me!

OK - so I went. And sure enough it rained - again!

Facilities were utter crap and Donnington is like a building site.

Bloody good racing though

:D Well I got down for qualifying on the Saturday and the sun was out, Knew it would rain on race day though.
So how much you going to pay to watch at Silverstone, miles from the track, And it still takes an age to leave even with the new roads!, Oh and the journey there is crap, as its mostly dual carriageway for me, now the 6006 to the M1 is great fun, and I embarrass quite a few bigger bikes.

Silverstone is only 30 mins (on great roads) from me but, as you say, rubbish to watch at.

I usually go to an overseas round so not too fussed about going
