yep, that's 3 from 4 which are blue. Actually, the colour is very similar to the Yamaha racing blue my TRX is painted in.

This is the first bike I've ever owned with a top box but, given I hate wearing rucksacks, it could be statying as an alternative to having a bag on the back seat.

This is the first bike I've owned that isn't a twin for over 10 years

And if anyobe made a decent twin that was capable of reliable high mileages and could handle 2 up work, I'd have got one

I did consider that but the lack of power put me off a bit. And the price - for some reason they hold their value very well and the Trumpet was a way better vfm

I am looking at getting a TDM850 Mk2 this winter for road riding next year. I will be keeping the TRX mainly for track days, but i will keep it legal.
My budget will have to be about £1400 tops so its a bit limiting. Trumpets at that price are right dogs!
Yours looks like a good one, got a pizza delivery kit too!

Yep, you can get get 850s for sensible money but they tend to have been used and have high mileage. And have even less power thanthe 900s!

If you are keeping the TRX for track work, you'll be wanting the tyres I'v got in the garage then  (which as an added bonus fit teh TDM  )

same for the 3VD

900 uses 160 rear and 120 front

all TDMs are 18inch front although a TRX front is a straight swap on an 850 and quickens the steering
