Awesomeness

After more than two years sitting neglected, but not lonely or forgotten, in may garage I have just fired up my old TRX and taken it for a ride through the twisties out the back of my place.
Living in Hong Kong is not conducive to bike riding so I left all my bikes in Melbourne with the misguided thought that I'd be coming back to Oz often enough to ride/enjoy/care for them. Work had other ideas, I've only been back twice each year, once for Christmas and the other usually in mid winter.
I've been able to ride my aprilia on most visits that I have made, mainly because it was the easiest to get out of the garage.
This trip I'm here for longer than usual and so I've made an effort to get the TRX running again.
Some charge in the battery, fresh fuel, and a bit of faith does wonders. So does air pressure in your tyres.
How could I have ever enjoyed riding that fat pig of an aprilia? (answer: horsepower!)
The TRX might only just pull the skin of a custard, but it is still an awesome bike to ride in the twisties.
Best ride I've ever had on a thirteen year old.
I've rediscovered why I like this bike so much.
