Leave it on idle for 15 minutes and then you´ll see if it keff or not.
...or get the 878 kit and it´ll get to 100 as soon as you enter afternoon city traffic!

By normal use my temperature is just below 70 degrees. When does the fan start? A jear ago my temp. runs up to 110 degrees in heavy traffic and the fan doesnt start... Is this normal?

It's all here if you search

But as I'm feeling nice - the TRX runs cool as standard. Rarely above 70 if it's moving (and I've seen some barely move the gauge). Fan should kick in at 104.

When I first got my TRX I figured that the thermistat was faulty as the temperature never got above 70 degrees on the gauge (in slow traffic). I tested the thermistat and it was fine and checked all connections to the gauge......after these efforts the gauge still read the same....... I caught site of a temperature gauge of a TRX, on a youtube clip, of some guy taking his bike for a spin. It wasn't reading any more than mine was, so I quit fretting about it.

thanks gents mine sits around 70 when travelling but climbs rapidly in traffic. I wired a switch in to turn on the fan manually. 104 sounds a bit warm for me.

I replaced the thermostat in mine because it never moved of cold at all.A bank loan should be considered when purchasing said thermostat because they want drug money for the darn thing. #-o
