First time I got the bike out in two weeks was Friday - Been cycling as I don't do motorbikes in ice and snow. Are any of you lot riding through the winter? Other problem is all the salt rotting away the aluminium and generally making the bike really cruddy and as we all know Yamahas of the late 90's were not the best finished bikes to start.
Got a nice new plate and fitted an LED light so it can be seen and am doing a bit of messing with the R1 fork conversion, Yokes are done, forks are sleeved with bushes and I just need a bit of lathe time to modify the TRX axle.
Other project is making adaptors to allow me to fit standard H4 bulbs in my FZR400RR twin headlight. will upload photos when done

Re: Winter Blues
Reshaping the H4 mounting plate with a dremel is quite easy. Low beam is useable but hi beam was crap. So maybe an adapter that allows the bulb to sit a bit further back will work better for you.

A bit of water about but mid 20 degrees and rising for summer in the south.
Everything is green as a full wallet, birds are a chirpin, beez are a buzzin.
You pongo's are whippin us at cricket even, must be the perfect immigrants time!
Please though, if you really are a true soap-dodger, think about what you bring.
We are still a little tender about the rabbits, foxes and blackberries.

Re: Winter Blues
I'm jealous, more snow yesterday and more to come, rode back in it yesterday which caused some sphincter twitching
