Any one go to the bike show?
I loved the Norton Cafe racer in Manx colours - makes you proud to be a Brit
Also very intrigued by metisse stand, they have made a brand new oil cooled 360 paralell twin, with four valve heads. They had it in a street scrambler, but the next step is a traditional Cafe racer. Only downside £12K asking price???
I'm not totally sold on the updated look of the speed triple
My mate Malcolm kept sneaking off to look at the Enfields - Bloody pervert, though they did have a handsome looking flat tracker.
Don't these long winter nights fly by

Thought it was a good show this year, lots more manufacturers present and some nice new models on display. My highlights:
Kwacker Z1000SX. I'll be having a test ride on one come the summer. The sort of bike I'd replace the TRX with as it looks a good sporty allrounder and test reviews are positive. Bit worried by the number of silver haired gents expressing interest?!! A weakness my mates woudl exploit mercilessly but then we're a;ll the wrong side of 40 now and I'm not the eldest by a few years!!
Liked the new Tuono V4. Shame you couldn't sit on one.
BMW HP2. Still love them. I'll pass on the S1000RR....felt tiny and I suspect way too much for the road.
CBR600F - faired Hornet really. Imagine it'll go quite well.
Ducati Diavel. Don't ask me why but I like it...until you check out the price tag. Kin ell makes a Vrod look a snip!
Nortons - interesting by toooooooo dear!
Ducati Hypermotard - yep, with a decent tank please.
Pwilla Dusodoro Factory - thats better!!
ZX10R - liked it til I got to the seat unit. Not sharp enough for the rest of the styling!
That was about it for me. Poked about a few of the trade stands but nothing caught my eye expect one selling on-bike cameras. Something we're experimenting with as a group for upcoming track days. Couple of mates parted with their cash so we'll see how we go before I spend!
Over and out. Corners.

I was quite interested in seeing the Z1000SX but in the flesh it wasn't quite what I was expecting. The front indicators are a big turn off and the the pannier mounting was a bit Heath Robinson looks like you could get another bag in the gap between the pannier and the bodywork

The Z1000S looked as ugly as hell in the metal - looked ever so good in pictures, like a sensible Zx10

The MV triple was the highlight, and I entered the comp to win the Hobgoblin Royal Enfield!
The show was better than previous years, but still very samey.
