Bejesus that doesn`t look too evenly balanced!
If you look at pictures one and five on this link (click on it to enlarge) you can see me an Dawn going into last years Bulldog Bash.
There`s a 4 person tent, two doss bags, two air mattresses, holdall with odds and sods and tool roll loaded up on the Ventura in those blue `rubble` bags. Good and lively on the front end with all that weight behind the centre of gravity

It pissed down for over 250 miles of the journey too!

The TRX won`t look like that this year when I go, lots of upgrades will be complete by August.

Hey, i like to smell better than i look

and I really want to see the different luggage combo's people are using

I have looked a Givi, Shad, Hepco & Becker, Krauser, Dry-rider, venture and some more that i can't remember and still haven't found the right combo for my silk undies and Peter Warmers

I am off to the TT soon and I'll have to try out my oxford soft luggage in the next couple of weeks to see how it fits on the TRX. Later in the year I am going to buy some hard luggage and a frame from another bike, get the MIG out and mod the frame so it fits the TRX and then I can have a full set of hard lockable luggage.
My missus has just bought a set of kappa luggage for her fazer and the frame looks like it could go on the TRX with a days work cutting and welding.

Mate just ignore the "Gold Barron", what type of luggage are you thinking of, kappa? and are you going to mount it over the pipes or outside the pipes?

not sure which kind to use, but the kappa one has tubular sides which look ideal for cutting and welding
or I might buy a renntec trx rack and then combine that with a kappa frame, but it will be later in the year, I wont get it done before this years TT, so I'll have loads of time after to make it cos I wont need luggage for a while

I'm sort of leaning towards the Krauser luggage as the mount is a simple upside down "U" and fairly easy to make mounting brackets to fit, as well they made a small rectangle box that would suit a TRX well and can hold a full face helmet!
