I `ve posted pictures of it before on various threads, nicely done it is too. A very good conversion that hydraulic clutch, XS clutch actions are pretty heavy as standard.
Would be even nicer taken out to the `available` max of around 1000cc with some crankcase mouth machining and a long stroke crank. The classic sidecar boys do it and by ferk are they quick too!
There`s one crazy Dutchman that comes over some years for the round of classic racing at my club circuit, his is nearer 1200cc with some one off machined billet crankcases to enable him to do it, well over 100 bhp it makes too.

Some lovely engineering touches on it, like the right hand frame tube that has been scalloped out to make clearance for the spark plug and cap then filleted in again. Also the lovely front engine mount tubing that is bolted up to the modified TRX frame. It has flatslides on it as well, likely goes very well indeed.

With a high compression 750 kit and FCR`s it`ll make about the same as a TRX lump, far from wheezy.

I know...but that's a lot of effort to make it the same

It`ll be much more punchy low down, XS`s have heavier flywheels. Maybe he couldn`t find a TRX motor so utilised what he had?
Still a damn fine bit of engineering.

Agreed...and always interesting to see what people get up to with their bikes for sure
