Hi
Still trying to dismantle the Master Cylinder....removed the spring clip....which broke...but there is a plate at the base, which I assume is removable, but it's stuck....rust has kicked in, and its a nightmare to remove...
Anyone else had these enjoyable experiences, and survived ??

Hi Roy,
I think you'd be better getting one from Ebay rather than trying to refurb your existing one. Most of them seem to be generic across the Yamaha range anyway. Check with your local Yamaha dealer. I'm down at Flitwick's tomorrow and I'll find out.

Lots of WD40 and patience... Carefully scrape as much of the corrosion out as you can and maybe try using an air gun to blow the piston and that washer out (just don't point it at anyone, maybe in a box filled with old newspaper...).
Looks similar
