Any one got a good source for a set of pistons rings? $170 for both cylinders here in Brisbane.

$71.60 a set = $143.20 from Peter Stevens here in Melb Devlin. Yammy Aus should still have a couple of sets in stock.

Interestingly there`s yet more confusion here:

http://www.oemmotorparts.com

(You cannot link direct to the TRX listings unfortunately, I`ve tried it numerous ways and it`s ferked me off!!)
Anyway, why are there TWO types of inlet valve listed and again there is the number of inlet valves issue. The listing is for either 2 or 4 and of course neither is right!
Should be SIX inlet valves, FOUR exhaust, the rest of the quantities are correct, springs, collets, buckets etc.
Must be some kind of cock-up because they have based their listings on the original Yamaha parts listings which I`ve already proven to be wrong regarding the quantity of valves.
I wonder just how many numpties in bike shops have ordered the wrong quantities based on these mistakes? I know the not so bright staff at my own Yamaha dealership would VERY likely make the same mistake.
I generally go round their side of the counter and look at the fiche myself before I trust them to order the right parts and numbers.

Hmmm..... interesting. I got my inlet valves from Kedo as they were less than half the price here in Australia. They don't list the piston rings and need to email them to see if they can supply. Shipping hurts for a smaller order like that though. Woudl work out close to same price heer for a set of valve springs.
