oil change o rings

Post by trix » Wed Aug 31, 2011 11:57 pm

Hi
Does anyone know the size of the 2 o rings that are required for the oil change?
I got a filter that didn't have the o-rings included so chanced it without changing the o rings. Now its leaking so i need to replace them. I'd like to have the o-rings ready to go in when I drain the oil and remove the filter housing.
thanks.

Mate,
Sorry, dont know o ring sizes, but the oil filters I get from Halfords for the TRX have the o rings so maybe if you have Halfords there, a trip to one and a little look in the box would give you the right sizes?

Yep Champion filters in Halfords have the o-rings in the box. Or.........................

Yamaha part numbers: 93210-64297 large filter housing o-ring.

&: 93210-12790 small o-ring in the two bolt flange end of the housing.

From the Yamaha parts list here (shhh) :
