R6 gold spot front calipers from 2003 will they fit??

Will they fit my standard trx ? And are these as good as the blue spots a lot of you gus are using. Been offered some quite cheap ?

Yeah mate, as long as they're not the Radially mounted version (pretty sure the 2003 isn't) you'll be fine.

AFAIK, the blue, gold, silver etc are all the same, I have the golds, I went with gold because they suit my colour scheme.

I remember reading somewhere that the gold may be a stiffer caliper, but never heard anything concrete.

Yes lighter and somewhat more `rigid` too, the pistons are lighter and they are really the last stage in Yamaha`s brake fitments before the radial mounted calipers.

Yeah, they're fine. I've got a set of '03 R6 Blue Spots on mine.
I think they've been on there since '05
No problems at all.
