Been offered a couple of old two smokers….

Post by Rod.s » Mon May 28, 2012 6:04 am

Well what do you think, RG500 and 2 TZ750's all with complete racing history from factory  and still full commissioned!

How much would you pay for each :?: I'd have the RG but the TZ on the left is a rare factory, rear Mono Shock and worth the most :D Oh and just for kicks i tried all for size and i don't fit on any of them 8-[

love the look of those wire wheels..but look at the width of the tyres and the brakes...there's a program on saturday Ch 1 about Isle of Man and history so I'm sure it'll have some classic racing.

With the race history and confirmed GP history double that figure and you might be getting close :D

I'd say a tail end of a YZF750sp with the calibre of motorcycles there

Had a wee smelly screamer visit to my club circuit this weekend just passed. (apologies, I`ve not been able to resize these yet):

My pal Billy getting a good close up through the fairing:

The owner was being `careful` with it, not really giving it the beans.

Oh and the value over here of those bikes in the thread opening post, maybe as much as 200k (English pounds) given the right history, perhaps more!
Click on the images for quality close up images, the brazing of the chrome moly Reynolds tube used to make the frame etc.
Or maybe to view the blackheads on Billy`s neck too!

Early eighties Lenny? (Looking at the Elsie parked across by)
Is that yourself in the picture? A very fine look you have there.
Oh and the BIG block Z900 / 1 outfit over there looks nice too.

Talking of `trick` outfits, how about a road registered Merlin Busa:

The owner reports it`s nice and stable at an indicated 170 with folk in the chair!

There`s a good mixture of old and new at my home circuit, all classes:
