Resto/TLC time

As my baby has got a few kms (85000+) on it now I decided some months back to treat it to some real TLC.
First up was into a friends workshop for a real good checkover of the engine. Now he is a real TRX fan so he was never going to give me a bad report. So valve clearances, cam chain and all hoses replaced and we were onto the next step.
Next up rear brake disc, pads and hardware replaced. As it is so good cosmetically, I had decided I want to keep this baby as stock looking as possible so went the oem path through these guys (http://www.oemmotorparts.com) as their prices obliterate what can be had locally. Also picked up new footpeg rubbers, gear lever rubber, cables and some little detail bits and bobs to really finish it off nicely.
The suspension has just come back from the shop. Revalved rear with heavier spring to suit my heavier self. Front has heavier springs too with cartridge emulator kits installed. I know this isnt stock but still is visually.
What has surprised me is how well the bike has held up over the years. I have checked and relubed all suspension linkage points, swingarm bearings and steering head bearings and all have been fine.
Still have front discs and hardware to come along with fresh chain/sprockets and then I think I will then almost have a new 1999 TRX
