Took the bike + new FCR's from Brum to Cambridge to meet college mates that I haven't seen for 20 years. Bike ran really well, no fuel overflow - result. Was canning it fairly hard enjoying intake whoosh and exhaust boom and still getting 48 to the gallon - not too shabby.
Oil consumption is another matter, I think a head refresh, with new valve seal stems is the order of the day possibly new rings
Might consider porting, raising compression ratio and Kent cams
I have a spare head to mess about with - anyone know a decent tuner in the Midlands?
