TDM900 barrels/pistons and ream out the small ends - then you've no more oil consumption problems :D Won't give a lot more horses but a nice dollop of torque just where you need it.

Mine doesn`t use a drop of oil anyway,I know that`s considered unusual but that`s the case with mine, just under 20,000 miles and I`m the SEVENTH owner if I remember correctly!
Any crankcase machining involved for the TDM 900 barrel/piston swap folks, and what about cams, piston clearance etc, etc?
Does the injection system utilise similar inlet stubs, what I`m getting at is can you use the carbs(FCR`s)without too much messing around?
Using the injection system might be far more difficult, airbox requirements and such like.

A wee bit of machining involved to get the squish right - just use the TRX head, it bolts straight on. A friend of mine did it on his TDM a couple of years back - I'm sure he kept all the figures.

At least I`ll not be up against you,my carbon stubbies are just the ticket for me at the moment.
Well for now anyway,I`ve secured some dimensions to enable me to have an Over copy of front pipes/headers made for me at a later date, found a man who can replicate them too if he`s to be believed.

If you do, and if he can, I'm sure there'd people on here who would be interested in a set.

I`m likely going to pay the man a visit when I`m on tour down South visiting my folks and friends, spoke on the phone only at this stage.
I`ll certainly keep the forum updated with how it pans out.
