Round Headlight Options for a Naked TRX

Hi guys

A previous owner of my TRX removed the fairing (after damaging it) and installed a round headlight as well a bit of a wind deflector over the instruments. Whilst I like the look in theory, in practice it’s pretty messy and I want to have another go at it, starting with a new headlight. Ive got a riser bar kit from 998cc to install too so I'm after that naked superbike type front end look

I understand there are many twin headlight street fighter style options available but I’m not really into that mutant insect from out of space look, it kind of creeps me out haha

What I’m after is a good big headlight (8” preferably) and mounting system. I’ve noticed from the ‘member’s rides’ section several bikes that have a similar set up and I’d be keen to know the details –

-where did you get your headlight?
-how did you mount it?
-how do you mount your instruments?
-any other modifications necessary?
-a pic of your set up would be great...

I know you`re over in Aus but you should search for replica headlamps for stuff like Yamaha LC`s, they were 8" or an old SR one I think they`re 8" unit`s too.
In the UK M&P are the cheapest place for headlights:

You can buy headlamp mounting brackets that do not require the top yoke to be lifted, they split in two parts.
Then there`s alternative ways to mount the clocks etc or choose to replace them with something more in keeping with the single headlight unfaired look.
Small speedo`s and tacho`s are readily available over here, spend some time looking through M&P`s site for inspiration.
I`ve a good pal in Perth, she`s coming over to blighty for Xmas to sample a REAL winter!
