Ignition switch
Ignition switch...Anyone know how to get this thing off the top triple clamp, It seems to have some sort of security rivet????

You'll have to drill the bolts and use easyouts or use a dremel and cut slots into the heads then use an impact driver to loosen them. Yamaha use a blue loctite type compound so once you break that bond they'll come out.

All you need to do is drill off the heads, use a centre punch first then start with a 3mm drill to about 10 mm depth.Change the drill for a bit large enough to take the heads of the security bolts and as soon as the ignition is pulled clear you`ll be able to grip what`s left of the threaded portion with mole/vice grips or even in a vice.The remaining threaded portions come out dead easy.
