SV Thou mirrors

Post by Corners R Us » Sat Nov 20, 2010 6:29 pm

Anyone on the list actually done this mod? Am I right in thinking they are a near enough direct fit with just some nominal elongating of the holes to make them fit?

I've found these on eGay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT

and it seems a simple cheap mod to actually give me some rearward vision!

Thanks in advance, Corners

I have these on mine all I had to do was slightly elongate the holes in the top fairing stay. Now I can see behind me and not just my elbows.
My bike maybe a dinosaur but it still has some bite & has a mighty roar.

Sometimes I wake up grumpy ........ but usually I let her sleep in

cbr mirrors fit aswell!! i've got cbr1000f (94) mirrors on mine, straight bolt on nearly(weirdly i only had to open up one hole a smidge but i'm experienced in that area so all good) , so i would assume cbr600 and vfr750/800 mirrors fit aswell. You CAN see what's behind you. Which is indeed a novelty as the standard items are a bad joke.

Have a look at my wifes bike - i've used SV mirrors on both hers & my bike. Just oval the holes out a couple mm & they bolt straight on, even the footprint profile is near identical.
