Bob when I did mine I used the standard cables. I only used one cable and did one complete circle of the cable wheel on the carby to use up the longer inner cable. The return cable was disconnected from the wrist grip end and cable tired out of the way at the carby end. Never had any problems in 30k and if in the unlikely event the carby locks open etc you have a kill switch to play with.

The set I bought came with cables and I fitted them straight to the standard throttle sleeve....

I wouldnt fit a QA throttle with FCRs as it will cause them to 'bog down' when you crack it open.
FCR's like it slow and smooth to start with .................. but then again, don't we all!

Nah, still in the shop getting repaired and waiting for parts from Japan.
Probably the other side of Easter.
Go past the shop everyday on the way home, afraid to go in there til she's finished
