Intergrated LED taillight & indicators

What I find amazing is, that LED tail lights for bikes and cars are illegal (supposedly), but just about every bus, truck or trailer seems to have them on. What's the go with that?
I'm gonna try and get some of those nice shark nose LED lights

I think the catch is, they come out with them.

What are the shark nose leds, I haven't seen those...

I don't know what the rules are like in Australia, but I have had my integrated LED tail lights on my bike for two years now with now issues. Been through a couple of warrants, including VTNZ(Vehicle Testing New Zealand) and nothing said. And been pulled over by a lovely man in blue at three in the morning, and he never mentioned the rear lights while nicely delivering his 20 minute drilling on not having my learners plate on, riding outside ours and speeding [-X

Mine actually work better than the original I think. They are extremely bright and when flashing are very easy to see.

That Chinese site has certainly got the prices down, I paid way more that.....seem to be very similar product.
